Move Ad Banner?

Good afternoon!
I'm sure everyone has noticed the new (well, new for upgraded players) ad banner on the right side of the screen. If you haven't, you probably have an ad blocker :P
Anyway, I was wondering if it would be possible to move the ad banner to underneath the poll. As it is, it's extremely distracting and is making my eyes hurt (the animated ones, at least). It's making surfing around the site a lot less fun. In addition to the flash-induced pain, I'm also finding it hard to see Issue Hub notifications. I have yet to see one, even though I'm almost positive there have been at least a couple. Do they appear above the annoying ad, or below? I feel like it's hindering my ability to do my Newbie Helper job... :/
edit: I finally saw a notification, and it's above the banner (which is good, but the banner is still distracting >.<)
I understand the need for the visible ad (after all, I want Ala to thrive and stick around!), I just wish it was lower on the page, under the "poll" box. Anyone else?

Maybe I just don't see how adding an ad for already upgraded & donating players is going to help anything?

The reason why the ad was placed there/on upgraded accounts as well was because there wasn't many bone purchases last month, so Rob wants to see if this will help the site.

Yes, I too find the ad to be annoying. I use the Earth Day layout and most of the ads are extremely bright and flashy against the dark background. Moving it lower would be a compromise, although I dislike the fact that it's there at all for upgraded players. We donated to the site...what more can we do to get rid of the annoying ad?
